Tegen de avond arriveren we weer bij de rand van het continentale plat. De blauwe wijting op zo'n 450m diepte neemt weer toe. We zetten uit om 19:00 UTC, ongeveer 50 mijl van St. Kilda. We zijn niet de enigen, want een acht trawlers - voornamelijk - Noren zijn hier ook aan het vissen. Het verschil is dat de deze bedrijfsschepen dicht tegen de rand van het plat aan zitten, terwijl het op onze positie (57.36N-10.10W) ongeveer 900m diep is. In the evening we arrive again at the edge of the continental shelf. The amount blue whiting in the layer at about 450m increases again. We shoot the net at 19:00 UTC, 50 miles from St. Kilda. We are not the only one, because 8 trawlers - mostly Norwegian - are fishing here as well. The difference is that these commercial vessel fish close against the shelf edge while the depth at our position (57.36N-10.10W) about 900m is.

De trawlsonar - die tijdens de vorige trek haperde - doet het gelukkig weer perfect! De vangst bestaat uit - niet geheel onverwacht - blauwe wijting. Fortunately the trawlsonar - which had a little hick up during our last haul - is performing excellent again! The catch consists of , surprise, surprise .... blue whiting.
